PROFILE
 
Prior to attending law school at the University of Ottawa, Jennifer received her Bachelor of Arts degree (Hons.) from the Collège Universitaire de Saint-Boniface/University of Manitoba where she majored in Political Studies.
 
Jennifer is fluently bilingual and practices in both French and English.
 
Jennifer practices in the areas of municipal governance and corporate commercial law. She has experience in planning, zoning, municipal by-laws, development plans, development agreements, municipal finances, election issues, conflict of interest as well as government relations including municipal, regional, provincial and federal.
 
Jennifer is familiar with employment issues related to municipalities and specifically has worked on the negotiations for collective agreements, employee dismissals and the interplay of the Employment Standards Code with labour agreements.
 
Jennifer also practices corporate commercial law, and has experience with purchase and sales of assets and shares, financing with banks and other lenders, as well as drafting contracts and leases.
